24th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress (IPVS) 2016

We, the Local Organising Committee, are delighted to invite you to the 24th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress in Dublin, Ireland from 7th – 10th June, 2016 in the Royal Dublin Society.

The 24th Congress will be a truly unique event as we have joined forces with the 8th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management to consolidate the pig veterinary conferences in Europe in 2016 and to create a special event in a special city.

The Congress will be held over five days, bringing together world experts in PED, PRRS, New and Emerging Diseases, and Management and Reproduction.

Registration will open in April, 2015, with abstracts also being accepted from April 2015.

The 24th Congress Programme will be unique event as we have joined forces with the 8th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management. The Congress will be held over five days, bringing together world experts in PED, PRRS, New and Emerging Diseases, and Management and Reproduction.

II American-Ukrainian agrarian Congress will take place June 20-21 in Washington

New strains of probiotic bacteria can be approved for use in animal feed the EU

On request of the European Commission, the European Agency on control of safety of foodstuff (EFSA) conducted an analysis of two probiotic strains Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which a number of manufacturers today are seen as potentially useful for use in the feed of broilers. It is assumed that they are quite effectively increases the body's immune response, thus improving microbial flora in gastrointestinal tract and promote better digestion.
