In January Ukraine exported 2.9 thousand tons of eggs

In January this year Ukraine exported 2.9 thousand tonnes of in-shell eggs for the sum of 2,7 million dollars.

The import of fish products during the reporting period amounted to 123 tonnes to 402 thousand. The positive balance of foreign trade in shell eggs amounted to 2.3 million dollars.
According to DFS, the first place among the importers of these products from the Ukraine belongs to Russia (1.9 million USD. specific weight — 71,5%), the second is Liberia (208 thousand dollars, 7,8%), followed by Qatar (179 thousand dollars, Of 6.7%).

During the reporting period, Ukraine bought eggs in the shell in Bulgaria (209 thousand dollars, share 52,1%), Slovakia (138 thousand dollars, 34,4%) and Germany (20 thousand dollars, Of 4.99%).

Transition periods allow market operators to shift to new requirements and, if necessary, to bring the manufacture of products in accordance with the provisions of the new law.

To meet this requirement, the agriculture Ministry has prepared the order №590 "On approval of Requirements to development, implementation and use of permanent procedures based on the principles of the system of food safety management (HACCP)".

However, certification of permanent procedures based on the principles of the system of analysis of hazards and critical control points is not mandatory.

However, compliance will be conducted after the approval of the form of the report made on the results of the state audit on the compliance by market operators of requirements of the legislation in respect of permanent procedures based on the principles of system hazard analysis and control at critical points.

The results show that the US and China are the top 2 countries, producing 1/3 third of all animal feed, and that predominant growth came from the beef, pig and aquaculture feed sectors as well as several African, Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

Ukraine has harvested more than 57 million tons of grain

Millet collected on 103 thousand hectares (98%), and produced 188 thousand tons of grain at yield of 18.3 C/ha.

In addition, the sunflower at the reporting date was threshed on 5.7 million hectares (97%) collected for 12.75 million tons of oilseeds, with yields of 22.3 C/ha. Soybean collected from 1.7 million hectares (92%), with a yield of 22.6 C/ha collected 3.8 million tonnes of the oilseed.

Sugar beet is dug out on the area of 238 thousand hectares (82%), were harvested, the average of 11.36 thousand tons with a yield of 476 kg/ha.
